These Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions ("Affiliate Terms") govern your participation in the LanguageMaster.org affiliate/referral program (the "Program"), operated by LanguageMaster.org ("we," "us," or "our"). The Program is available exclusively through affiliate application and approval. By applying to or participating in the Program, you ("Affiliate," "you") agree to be bound by these Affiliate Terms in addition to our general Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. If any conflict arises between these Affiliate Terms and our general Terms and Conditions, these Affiliate Terms control for matters specific to the Program.
The Program lets approved Affiliates earn a commission by referring buyers to LanguageMaster.org's one-time Access Passes (Silver, Gold, Platinum, Chrome Extension Access, and Video Lecture Class Access) using a unique referral link issued to each Affiliate.
Participation requires a completed application at affiliate/become-affiliate.php, including accurate contact, address, and payout information. Applications are approved automatically upon submission — there is no manual review before approval — but we may suspend or terminate any account after the fact under Section 9, including for incomplete, inaccurate, or fraudulent information supplied at enrollment. You do not need to already hold a LanguageMaster.org membership to apply. You must be of legal age to enter a binding agreement in your jurisdiction, and the Program is currently open only to applicants located in a country our payment processor supports. Each person or entity may hold only one Affiliate account; referral traffic must reflect genuine promotion by you.
Approved Affiliates earn a commission equal to 41% of the sale price (before tax, where applicable) on each qualifying Access Pass purchase. This rate applies uniformly across all Access Pass products and is current as of the date above; any future change to the rate will apply prospectively to sales made after the change takes effect, not retroactively.
A sale qualifies for a commission when the buyer completes checkout after clicking your referral link, attributed via a first-party tracking cookie valid for 30 days on a first-touch basis (the first Affiliate link a visitor clicks retains credit for that window, even if the visitor later clicks a different Affiliate's link). At present, only purchases paid by card through our Stripe checkout qualify for a commission; purchases paid by other methods are not currently attributed to an Affiliate. Purchases you make using your own referral link, or using an account you control, never qualify for a commission.
New commissions are recorded as pending. LanguageMaster.org offers a 15-day refund policy on Access Passes, so a commission becomes approved (payable) 16 days after the underlying sale — 15 days plus one — unless the sale is refunded first, in which case the commission is voided automatically and permanently. If a sale is refunded after its commission has already been paid out to you, we reserve the right to deduct the refunded amount from a future payout or invoice you directly for it.
Commissions are paid exclusively via PayPal, to the PayPal email address you provide on your application. You are responsible for keeping this email accurate and for maintaining a valid PayPal account able to receive funds; we are not responsible for payouts lost or delayed due to an incorrect or inactive PayPal email. We pay affiliates once a month: any commission that has reached approved (payable) status — see Section 5 — by the time we run that month's payout is included in it. There is currently no minimum payout threshold. You are solely responsible for any taxes owed on commissions you receive.
You may not: send unsolicited bulk email ("spam") to promote your referral link; make false, misleading, or exaggerated claims about LanguageMaster.org or its products; bid on "LanguageMaster," misspellings of it, or confusingly similar terms in paid search advertising; use cookie-stuffing, forced clicks, malware, browser extensions, or any other technique that generates referral credit without a genuine, informed action by the visitor; offer cash-back, rebates, or other incentives tied to using your link in a way that misrepresents pricing; impersonate LanguageMaster.org or suggest an affiliation, partnership, or endorsement beyond participation in the Program; or otherwise violate applicable law or our general Terms and Conditions while promoting the Program. Violation of this section may result in forfeiture of unpaid pending or approved commissions tied to the violation, in addition to suspension or termination under Section 9.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use LanguageMaster.org's name and any marketing materials we provide, solely to promote the Program in compliance with these Affiliate Terms. You may not alter our logos or branding, and this license ends immediately if your Affiliate account is suspended or terminated. All such materials, and the LanguageMaster.org name and marks, remain our exclusive property.
You participate in the Program as an independent contractor. Nothing in these Affiliate Terms creates an employment, agency, joint venture, or partnership relationship between you and LanguageMaster.org. Either party may end your participation in the Program at any time, for any reason, by ceasing to use your referral link (on your part) or by suspending or terminating your Affiliate account (on ours). We may suspend your account immediately if we reasonably suspect fraud or a violation of Section 7; a suspended account stops earning new commissions but retains previously earned, non-fraudulent commissions subject to the approval process in Section 5. We may terminate an account and forfeit unpaid commissions tied to confirmed fraudulent activity.
The Program is provided "as is." We do not guarantee any level of referral traffic, conversion rate, or earnings. To the fullest extent permitted by law, LanguageMaster.org is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your participation in the Program, and our total liability to you under these Affiliate Terms will not exceed the total commissions actually paid to you in the twelve months preceding the claim.
We may update these Affiliate Terms from time to time, including the commission rate, hold period, or qualifying-sale rules described above. Continued participation in the Program after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Affiliate Terms; commissions on sales made before a change remain governed by the terms in effect at the time of that sale.
